The La Roseraie association
A non-profit association dedicated to natural birth in Geneva.
A birth centre run by its midwives and by parents
The Association Maison de Naissance La Roseraie is a non-profit association under articles 60 et seq. of the Swiss Civil Code. It is politically neutral and a member of the IGGH, the Swiss association of birth centres.
Our aims
- Promoting natural, physiological birth
- Informing families and the general public
- Running and developing the birth centre
- Offering activities related to parenthood
- Working with the Geneva health network
Kindness, respect, safety: three values at the heart of everything we do.
A group of midwives forms the heart of the birth centre. A committee of parents, elected for at least two years, coordinates the association’s activities and oversees its finances. It meets every month, and the General Meeting takes place every year.
La Roseraie is also a member of APRÈS-GE, the Geneva network for the social and solidarity economy, which hosts our general meetings and some of our training sessions.
